Rick Whitten, Vice President of Client Services

Rick is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is a licensed Property & Casualty Insurance agent.

He began his career with Aetna Casualty & Surety as a Loss Control Consultant in 1980. In 1992 he began working with TPA’s and MGA’s such as Managed Care, In Serve Corporation and Guarantee Insurance. Over the next sixteen years he held the positions of Loss Control Director, Regional Account Manager, Agency Manager and Assistant Vice President of Loss Control. Rick has been instrumental in the development of products for self-insured clients, associations and groups throughout those years to include web based interactive safety sites, BEST Practices and Benchmarking tools for the Automotive and Healthcare industries. Working with a Charlotte based MGA he was responsible for treaty compliance on a National scale in partnerships with AAIC, a subsidiary of Munich Re America Corporation.

Rick began working with Brentwood Services Administrators in 2002. As Vice President of Client Services, Rick's focus is on maintaining client relations and service commitments with existing customers. This includes claims, loss control and system contracts. He works closely with the Sales Division to establish the service groundwork for prospective and new clients at BSA. Rick also oversees the Loss Control Division, which services clients independently of our claims services as well as in conjunction with those services.
