Jeff Pettus, CEO, Brentwood Services Administrators Inc.

Jeff graduated cum laude from Georgia State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in accounting. Upon graduation, Jeff joined the firm of Ernst & Young, LLP, where his primary focus was working with financial institutions. His banking clients ranged in size from $50 million to $45 billion in total assets. His major responsibilities included financial statement audits, internal audits, compliance exams and loan reviews. Â
Jeff joined Brentwood Services, Inc. in May of 1999. His primary focus has been to enhance the internal accounting department. Additional responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, creating monthly financial statements, reporting to financial institutions, budgeting, assisting independent auditors with annual audit, and accounting for the company’s ESOP.
He began his career in the financial service industry in 1977 working as a bookkeeper in a small community bank. His eight years of banking experience included positions in all departments, which ranged from teller to chief financial officer. In addition, Jeff acquired five years of mortgage banking experience before returning to college to complete his degree.
Jeff is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has served as an officer and member of several community-related organizations.
